JaWanda's Sweet Potato Pies is a family owned bakery that relies strongly on their faith for success. JaWanda was raised in Alabama and has a true love for good ole southern cooking and hospitality. Her mother taught her at an early age how to satisfy a hungry appetite in the kitchen. At the age of 9 years old not only was she cooking for her mother and bringing her breakfast in bed, but she was preparing lunch meals for the neighborhood children she taught Bible Class to on her front porch.
